The Weston A. Price Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt charity founded in 1999 by Sally Fallon and Mary Enig to disseminate the research of nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston A. Price, whose studies of isolated non-industrialized peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diet.
Dr. Price's research demonstrated that humans achieve optimum physical form and health generationaly only when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods and the vital fat-soluable activators found in exclusively in animal fats.
The foundation is dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the human diet through education, research, and activism. The foundation supports a number of movements that contribute to this objective including accurate nutrition education, organic and biodynamic farming practices, pasture-feeding of livestock, community-supported farms, honest and informative labelling, prepared parenting, and nurturing therapies.
